Formulas Used:

Single Phase:
$$ P_{(\mathrm{KW})} = \frac{I \times V \times PF}{1000} $$ Where:
P = Real Power in KW
I = Current in Amps
V = Voltage in Volts
PF = Power Factor
Three Phase:
$$ P_{(\mathrm{KW})} = \frac{I \times V \times \sqrt{3} \times PF}{1000} $$ $${Where \sqrt{3}≈ 1.732}$$

Example Calculation

Single Phase Example:

Given: 20 Amps at 230V with PF=0.85
$$ P = \frac{20 \times 230 \times 0.85}{1000} $$ $$ P = \frac{3910}{1000} $$ $$ P = 3.91 \text{ KW} $$

Three Phase Example:

Given: 30 Amps at 400V with PF=0.9
$$ P = \frac{30 \times 400 \times \sqrt{3} \times 0.9}{1000} $$ $$ P = \frac{30 \times 400 \times 1.732 \times 0.9}{1000} $$ $$ P = 18.71 \text{ KW} $$
